Primal Bonding with the
Divine Mother and Father
Heartbeat Nurturing Therapy
with Amara Karuna
Our first impression of the divine comes from our parents, as they are our first nurturers. Our feeling connection to Spirit is based on this first relationship, and reflects how much or little nurturing we got. This imprint deeply affects of relationships with lovers. We can repattern this early imprint by doing specific therapy to create a deeper and more fulfilling connection to Source.
This Tantric healing practice addresses the pain that many of us experienced as infants in our birth traumas, and the lack of enough skin to skin contact and breastfeeding from our mothers after birth. A version of inner child therapy, this process works with accessing the infant self and memories still stored in our deep subconscious and cellular memory.
By using ritual, hypnotic induction, massage, touch, sound and spoken words, we open a direct channel back to that time and those experiences around birth. Both men and women can give and receive. We consciously invoke the larger energies of the Source, imagining ourselves as channels of the archetypal Mother and Father. We will cradle the receiver to our chests, with the option of being bare-chested.
People attending beginning class do not need to come with a partner. We will be trading a number of shorter sessions with same gender and opposite gender pairs, so we can experience being both mothered and fathered.
Women may optionally offer the Advanced form, which includes nuzzling, and touching the breasts, and the offering of a breast for suckling, but this is not required. We have found that the actual shape and texture of a real breast is the best for effectively changing the deepest patterning. For more info, see heartbeatnurturing.com.
Amara developed her own approach to peer counseling, called Wholistic Peer Support, integrating many ideas from RC with spiritual meditation practices, psychic healing, breathwork and body centered techniques. This has since evolved into a network of people under the name of Holistic Peer Counseling. She began studying Tantra and Sacred Spot work, a method of sexual healing, on Maui in 2003, and has since studied six different methods of pelvic bodywork. She has been teaching Sacred Sexual Healing Work for men and women, and leading Tantra Pujas, on Hawaii and the west coast. Amara developed Heartbeat Nurturing Therapy, a method of healing the inner infant self using cradling, hypnotic induction and suckling to address emotional issues stemming from lack of breast feeding and loving closeness as an infant. She is the author of Heartbeat Nurturing Therapy- Healing our Hearts. She eats all raw food, identifies as polyamorous, and currently lives in a land-based permaculture community in Hawaii.
Radical Forgiveness Ceremony
with Lucia Petig
Based on the ancient idea of a healing circle, used by various indigenous populations around the world, this event enables people to automatically forgive themselves and many others besides, all at the same time, without needing to reveal their story. It is a safe, non-threatening and powerful healing experience.
Radical Forgiveness Work goes for profound transformation of long held pains, wounds, grief or resentments from past experiences.
The Radical Forgiveness Ceremony helps us quickly move out of this victim consciousness to regain our inner balance, strength, and peace, and close some old chapters, to create a new future living our lives freely, unburdened and joyful!
It just needs your open mindedness. Give yourself the chance and get ready for the miracle—it can be life changing!
To learn more about this very powerful tool, read Jill’s story.
The creator of this method, Colin Tipping, gives a wonderful introduction to his work by sharing a story about his sister Jill, and how she used the paradigm shift provided by the forgiveness process to change her life. Many of us can identify with it, and it gives a clear impression about what Radical Forgiveness can do for you.
Lucia Petig recently settled to the West Coast from Germany, where she changed her career path from being a fully educated German lawyer to becoming a trained and certified Coach for Radical Forgiveness at the Academie for Transformation in Germany. After consciously and consistently pursuing her own healing journey for over a decade involving a variety of approaches, she was led to this work and has found her true calling in holding a sacred container for transformation.

with Kushad Watson
Come join us to heighten, explore and have fun relating and connecting from the subtle energies and sensations in our bodies. From there, we will also experiment with enhancing or cultivating more masculine or more feminine energies to create polarities of opposites in relating pairs. Opposing energies can bring about ecstatic connections in a dance of consensual play. The challenge is to remain aware of self via the body in the flow of relating, expressing the truth of our “Yes” and our “No” each moment. AND… taking it slowly enough to notice when we slip into old habits/patterns and potential “consent accidents.” There will be many fun relating activities, as well as free exploration time. ALSO tools to take home that help us to flow in life and relationships.
Kushad Watson brings passion and joy to workshops on body awareness, consent, and expressing what you want, especially regarding personal relating and sexuality, since 1991. After attending Summer Camp West in 2008, he jumped in as a participant, scamp and sometimes presenter with New Culture NorthWest. As a team player and facilitator, he thrills to the growth and expansion he witnesses in others as he learns along with them. Major influences on his path include Osho, David Deida, 14 years in community in Vancouver, BC, communal living and 26 in loving, open relationship with his primary, Wendy.
